I moved to Denver from Austin, Texas in 2005, to be with my family. Having owned a small business in the past, I knew I wanted to start another in Denver. I love the excitement of creating something new, and I wanted to capitalize on my business experience. I just didn't know exactly what I wanted to do. The answer came from my family.
My daughter and son-in-law, like so many of us, are working parents with full-time careers and a very busy home life. Because I had spare time, I found myself offering to help them out by doing more of the "little things" that take up so much time--internet research, running errands, taking care of their dog and checking on their home when they traveled, meeting repairmen. There were so many ways my services saved them time and helped them out that I soon realized these were services other people could use, too. That's how Easy Personal Assistant and Happy Tails Dog Walking & Pet Care came to be.
The central theme of my career has always been about helping others to succeed. My Master's degree, from the University of Texas at Austin, is in Adult Education. My experience as a trainer ranged from IBM classrooms to teaching welfare mothers Survival Skills. I was the Director of Operations in the Career Services Center of the College of Business at the University of Texas for nine years. We dealt daily with Fortune 500 corporate recruiters. Multi-tasking and impeccable follow-through was the name of the game. Superb customer service was a requirement.
I've worked for government agencies, non-profit organizations and for-profit businesses, and I've owned my own successful small business. I understand how important reliability, trustworthiness, and great customer service is. I look forward to demonstrating those qualities to you. Please feel free to call me at 303.759.0747 to discuss your needs.
Thank you for your business.
